The hotel is surprisingly dirt cheap. For 20 euros per night you got your own room (i've known hostels in which you shared a room with three others and still have to pay 25 euros per night) and that already includes breakfast(!) The room is comfy enough. Although it's located in the uppermost floor (4th) there's a small elevator if you're too tired to go 4 flight of stairs.
The slanted roof and the small window is not a really big deal at all. If there's one thing that I think about is the small, narrow shower that is akin to an uptight coffin. But then again this is only a minuscule problem.

The owner was very rude. When I went to my room the tv did not work. I call the reception to address the issue with the tv. The man comes to the room and tries to turn it on. I knew it would not work and asked him if he could provide a room with a working tv. The man kept on trying without results to turn on the tv not paying attention to what I sad. I repeated the question and ask what can we do then? He very rude answered “so what? You are paying for a room not a tv”.

Best value for money in Düsseldorf. I stayed for the price of less than 30€ and got a big room with private shower + wc. The breakfast was very nice too!
Nothing, just there is some street level noise form the trams every now and then...but I use ear plugs

Very nice value for money! Excellent breakfast! Room size was good. You come you sleep, you take shower, you have a nice breakfast and you are done, what else do you need. Especially if you pay less than 30€ per night, no reason to consider some of those big chain hotels unless your are picky and have money to spend. What is also important is that toilets can flush and showers don't get clogged up. On these two points the hotel did not disappoint. Friendly staff, reception available all day long.
Furniture and paint is not modernized. The showers could also be improved. But hey, you modernize it on those points and then you no longer pay 25€ but 90€ per night, and who wants that. Certainly not me!

Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and 30 minutes walk from the embankment of Rhine. Good wireless internet.
The room on the top floor was somewhat chilly in March.

A fine little hotel that offers the basic services at a cheap price. Staff is good, the room/shower/breakfast are fine.
The internet was not working well, some of the furniture and such were a bit old. Not bad for a quick trip, but not a luxury stop. Overall correct.
